Exploring the significance and symbolism of the circle in art.
From JMW Turner, whose vortexes of colour sought to convey the immense power of nature, to Barbara Hepworth, who recreated the curved, natural forms of the British coastline in her sculptures, this display reveals how artists have used the circle in their work.
Contemporary artists also feature, among them Barry Flanagan, whose felt pen on paper piece Seeing Round Corners gives the show its name, and David Batchelor, who has often used rounded shapes to present his explorations of colour.
