The Arts and Crafts House: Then and Now
10 October 2015 – 31 January 2016
Tracing the history of the Arts & Crafts movement, as well as its continuing legacy today.
This show explores the new ways of living and working promoted by the Arts and Crafts movement, featuring work by John Ruskin, William Morris, Gertrude Jekyll and Edwin Lutyens, among others.
It also looks at the legacy of the movement; contemporary ceramic artist Rosa Nguyen has created a three-dimensional wallpaper using ceramic and glass, partly inspired by the designs of Morris.
