Step inside the world's greatest experiment in this recreation of the famous CERN physics laboratory.
Visitors can explore the chain of accelerators that inject particles into the LHC, and then discover how particles are accelerated to almost the speed of light and steered around the LHC's 27-km tunnel

Buried deep under the border between Switzerland and France is the highest-energy particle collider ever made – the CERN Large Hadron Collider.
The work of 10,000 men and women from across the globe, it contains seven different detectors, each designed for specific kinds of exploration.
CERN built the LHC to allow scientists to test the predictions of theories concerning high-energy physics, most particularly to prove or disprove the existence of the Higgs particle, which was successfully confirmed in 2013.
This exhibition combines theatre, video and sound art, as well as real artefacts from CERN, to create a virtual realisation of the particle laboratory.
From witnessing the uncovering of the Higgs boson to exploring the 27-km collider and its cathedral-sized detector caverns, visitors will see how studying the subatomic world can help broaden our understanding of the universe.
After the exhibition finishes in London, it will head to MOSI in Manchester for display from 23 May - 28 September.
