Tales of the City is an exciting new series of contemporary exhibitions showcasing the international artworks acquired by the GoMa with funding from Art Fund International.

With new displays opening on 7 June, 22 June and 20 July, the series ends with a highlight of GoMA's Art Fund International collection, Disorient by Amsterdam-based artist Fiona Tan. A two-screen video installation that dissects myths and ideas of identity within historical colonialism, the film was originally created for an exhibition in Venice and this marks the first time it has been shown in the UK.

Art Fund International is the £5 million funding initiative launched by the Art Fund in 2007 in order to encourage UK museums and galleries to build outstanding collections of international contemporary art.
