23 March – 30 September 2012
Part of the London 2012 Festival, the Ironbridge Gorge Museum will host CORE: an epic 32m long digital art exhibition from Chicago based artist Kurt Hentschläger.
The work is described as 'a series of virtual aquariums containing dynamic bodies in extreme motion whose movements are neither predictable nor repeated. These identical humanoid figures interact both instinctually like schools of fish or flocks of birds and at other times they appear choreographed like ballet dancers or synchronised swimmers'. What's not to like?
