Sol LeWitt, Wall Drawing #1136

Room 14 at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art will be taken over by a presentation of Sol LeWitt's Wall Drawing #1136.
One of the artist's late wall drawings, the piece features a number of vibrantly coloured lines, straight and curved, meticulously painted across the wall along LeWitt's instructions.LeWitt's piece is part of a series of displays at the gallery exploring the legacy of sculpture. Other artists on show will include Auguste Rodin and Edgar Degas, through to more recent sculptors such as Ron Mueck, including works from the ARTIST ROOMS collection.
