Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize 2011

This exhibition collects 60 works selected from the over 6,000 submissions made to the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize this year.
From editorial and advertising images to fine art, these pictures represent some of the most exciting contemporary portrait photographers from around the world.
Among the 60 works are the five prize-winners and the winner of the ELLE commision. First prize was awarded to Jooney Woodward's photograph Harriet and Gentleman Jack, an intimate portrait of 13-year-old Harriet Power in the guinea pig enclosure of the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show.Other prizes went to Jill Wooster's portrait Of Lili, an androgynous portrait of a close friend of the artist; Christina and Mark by Dona Schwartz, capturing her parents' domestic life; Jasper Clarke's portrait of Chinese artist Wen Wu in her studio; and David Knight's touching portrait of a 15-year-old with Cerebral Palsy, Andie.
