Quentin Blake's illustrations to books by Roald Dahl, Elizabeth Bowen, David Walliams and of course his own writings, among others, have touched the lives of millions of children across several generations.

Alongside these works, Compton Verney's exhibition will showcase large-scale installations Blake has made specifically for the reception areas of children's hospitals, for residential wards and bedrooms of elderly mental health patients, for patients with eating disorders, and for a new maternity unit in Angers, France.See for yourself the therapeutic, immersive effect of these installations, and don't forget to visit the specially prepared Quentin Blake wall-papered reading room while you're there!
