This is the first exhibition to celebrate the extraordinary artistic outpouring that volcanic activity has tiggered over the past five centuries.

The spectacular images on show range from 16th century engravings recording cataclysmic eruptions to a selection of paintings by Joseph Wright, Turner and Andy Warhol, depicting the dramatic and destructive power of nature.
