NC Wyeth was one of America's finest illustrators, best known for books such as Treasure Island. His youngest son, Andrew, became the most famous artist in the family, making his name as a landscape painter. James Browning Wyeth is Andrew's son. He showed remarkable talent as a child and gained recognition very earliy in life, having his first exhibition at the age of 20, and has carried on the family tradition with his own brilliant career. Henriette Wyeth was NC Wyeth's eldest child and was regarded as one of the leading women painters of the 20th century.
