Understanding Medieval Art: Some New Ways of Thinking (Winter Lecture Series No. 1)

Speaker: Paul Binski, Professor of the History of Medieval Art at Cambridge University and Fellow of Gonville & Caius College.

Professor Binski will draw on his wide knowledge of medieval art, from illuminated manuscripts, English architecture of the Decorated period, Becket's Canterbury Cathedral, and Westminster Palace and Abbey for this lecture, the first in the winter series.

This event has been organised by the Cambridgeshire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
