Study Day - Because I Happen to Like Gold

  • The Parish Rooms, Somerton |
  • Study Day |
  • Sunday, 22 October 2017 - 10:30 until 15:30

In two 45 minute lectures, Tim Schroder will concentrate on Arthur and Rosalinde Gilbert's collection of gold objects, some of the most important in the world.  Please bring your own picnic lunch and we will provide drinks and cakes. In the afternoon there will be a 'road show' when members may bring their own items of gold and silver (not jewellery). These must be clearly labelled, valuations will not be given and the Art Fund accepts no liability for loss or damage. Lunch can also be found in one of the many cafes and pubs in Somerton.

This event has been organised by the Somerset Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
