How to read the City of London SOLD OUT
- Meet in front of St. Paul's Cathedral |
- Tour |
- Tuesday, 3 October 2017 - 13:30 until 16:00
To the casual visitor, the City of London can be a bit of a conundrum, a mysterious mixture of historic traditions and modern power. But the story of the City is visible everywhere if you know how to read it. Join City Guide, Karen Chester, on a walk that explores and explains the City – plaques, signs and statues, heraldry and hagiography, the ancient streets, the natural topography, churches and gardens, pubs and livery companies.
There will be a leisurely break for refreshments (at guests’ own expense) at the halfway point in the walk.
This event has been organised by the London Events Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
The Chapterhouse, St. Paul's Churchyard, London London EC4M 8AD
