The history and art of two of Germany’s finest small cities, both with UNESCO World Heritage sites, will be explored in this four day/three night tour.  Arranged on behalf of the Art Fund Devon Committee by Tailored Travel, the itinerary includes the Cathedral of St Kilian and a guided tour of the late Baroque Residenz. It also includes a full day in Bamberg and a boat excursion on the Main from Würzburg to Veitshochheim Palace, the summer residence of the Prince-Bishops of Würzburg. The visit ends with a tour and tasting of Franconian wines.

Travel is by direct flights between Bristol airport and Frankfurt.  The cost includes coach transport from Devon to Bristol airport, accommodation at the 3* Hotel Strauss in the centre of Würzburg, dinner on the first night, an executive coach throughout, entrance fees and the services of a knowledgeable tour manager.
