The Cheshire committee are delighted to welcome Helen McCabe, an authoritative and respected lecturer on historic houses and gardens in both Cornwall and France. This lecture will focus on the varied architecture of the chateaux and manoirs with their sophisticated gardens as well as the magnificent urban 18th century architecture of the Bordeaux region. The wine trade has been enormously important to creating the wealth of the region influencing the culture of Aquitaine, a Provence whose history is so inextricably linked with our own.

This event has been organised by the Cheshire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
