  • Wednesday 29 March 2017 - 13:45 until 16:00

One of the finest private libraries in Great Britain is situated in Edinburgh and this visit will allow you to have a glimpse at the breadth and rarity of the collection through the subject of A History of the Illustrated Book – in ten volumes.

As this is a visit to a private home, the bibliophile asks that you either bring slippers with you or use the slippers provided to protect the library floors. As it is in a domestic setting spaces will be limited so a prompt response is essential.

Meet in Edinburgh Royal Mile at 1.45pm for a visit starting at 2pm. Full details of where to meet will be given to those attending.

This event has been organised by the Strathclyde Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
