Hiroshige’s Japan: 53 Stations of the Tōkaidō Road - Sold out

In association with the Royal Albert Memorial Museum,  Art Fund Devon fundraising committee is hosting a talk by Dr Clare Pollard, Curator of Japanese Art at the Ashmolean Museum, on the touring exhibition of works by the great Japanese woodblock print designer Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858). 

The talk will explore the development of the landscape print in this period and give an insight into the process and techniques of traditional Japanese woodblock printmaking.

Tea will follow the talk, with an opportunity to meet Dr Pollard and visit or re-visit the exhibition.
