Evening at Dronfield Hall

  • Dronfield Hall Barn |
  • Special Event |
  • Thursday, 15 December 2016 - 18:30 until 21:30

Dronfield Hall Barn, a Grade II listed building, dates to the early 18th century, timbers dating from 1429 suggest the presence of a medieval hall. The Dronfield Heritage Trust, a buildings preservation charity, rescued and re-developed this historic building into a high specification heritage, arts and natural history centre. The committee are delighted to offer you what promises to be an interesting and entertaining evening in this open plan medieval interior.

Enjoy a glass of mulled wine on arrival followed by a presentation by Maria Smith from the Dronfield Heritage Trust featuring details of the history and more recent developments of this remarkable building, opened earlier this year.

Wine and canapés will be served, with entertainment by the South Yorkshire group of musicians, Toein' in the Dark, playing acoustic, folk and roots.

This event has been organised by the South Yorkshire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
