A morning tour of museum highlights with a guide. The Wallace Collection is a national museum in an historic London town house. In 25 galleries are unsurpassed displays, lovingly curated furniture, porcelain and French 18th century paintings, and Old Master paintings, as well as world class armoury. For the first time in recent years, the upper floor galleries have been restored to the original interiors. Guided by an expert guide lecturer, discover the finest collection of art ever assembled by one family, for over one and quarter hours you can relive the spirit of the fashionable (and often scandalous!) collectors which introduce you to some of the Wallace Collections key works of art. Afterwards you are free to wander, have a meal in the lovely restaurant (booking advised), or browse in the shop.

Meet at 10.45am in the lobby of The Wallace Collection.

Please note the nearest tube stations are Bond Street and Baker Street.

This event has been organised by the Hertfordshire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
