  • Lecture Theatre |
  • Talk |
  • Thursday, 5 May 2016 - 11:00 until 12:00

Telling a story 500 years in the making, Botticelli Reimagined will be the largest exhibition about the celebrated Florentine painter to be held in Britain since 1930. It includes painting, film, fashion, photography, drawing, tapestry and sculpture, and explores the ways artists and designers have reinterpreted his work. It will include more than 50 original pieces by Botticelli, plus some by Dante Gabriel Rossetti, René Magritte, Andy Warhol, Elsa Schiaparelli and Cindy Sherman. This talk is a valuable introduction to both the artist and the exhibition.

This event has been organised by the London Events Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
