Please join the Art Fund Kent committee for a 1 hour 15 minutes tour of the Wallace Collection - a nationally-renowned museum in a historic London town house.  In 25 galleries are unsurpassed displays of French 18th century painting, furniture and porcelain, with superb Old Master paintings and a world-class armoury.  The group will be guided by an expert guide lecturer in discovering the finest private collection of art ever assembled, created by Sir Richard Wallace, the illegitimate son of the 4th Marquess of Hertford.  Relive the spirit of the fashionable (and often scandalous!) collectors in this fascinating tour which introduces the Wallace Collection’s key works of art.

Lunch may be booked for after the tour in the Wallace Restaurant on 0207 563 9551.

Please note: The event begins with coffee/tea in the restaurant from 10.30am.  The tour commences at 11.30am.

This event has been organised by the Kent Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
