  • Wednesday, 4 November 2015 - 18:00 until 19:30

An established maker of ceramics, Kate Malone is known for her bold, striking creations and her use of shapes inspired by all forms of nature.  She works firstly in 'one-off' studio pieces, secondly with architects, designers and public art agencies.  Her main research is in high fired stoneware crystalline glazes, and along with works in her studio she will also show us her glaze test sample archive, the largest in the UK. This Autumn Kate is one of the judges presenting the BBC2 series ‘The Great British Pottery Throw Down’ aimed to show the wonders of ceramics to the British public.

Optional: supper afterwards at The Scolt Head pub at own expense.

This visit is limited to 12 participants. Please advise if you have any access restrictions.
