Chelsea Chic? A Walk with Andrew Davies - SOLD OUT

  • Meet at Slone Square Underground Station |
  • Guided Tour |
  • Thursday, 17 September 2015 - 11:00

Once a fisherman's village, Chelsea has been fashionable since the days of Henry VIII and Sir Thomas More.  From Oscar Wilde to Sir Mick Jagger, we shall see why.  As well as the King's Road with its many squares and delicious nooks and crannies, we will consider the Art Deco interior of Peter Jones and hopefully and Arts and Crafts 'cathedral' saved from demolition by Sir John Betjeman.

NB Pub lunch not included

This event has been organised by the Hampshire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
