Anne of Cleves House is a lovely 15th century timber-framed Wealden hall house in Lewes, East Sussex. It formed part of Queen Anne's annulment settlement from King Henry VIII in 1541, although she never visited the property. It was restored by the architect and conservator Walter Godfrey in the early 20th century.
The tour will begin with an illustrated presentation, followed by an hour-long guided tour of the house. After the tour, lunch or tea, coffee and cake can be found at the new café on the site. After lunch, there will be a guided walk around the town, which will take about an hour.
Tour House 11.30am, then Lewes walk at 1.30pm
