Partially designed by Harold Peto for his brother, who lived here in the Edwardian years, Kirby House Gardens have been expertly recreated over the past 26 years by Katharine Astor with double herbaceous borders, a reflective pool and views to the Downs. Nearby is West Woodhay, a wonderful red brick classical house built as early as 1635, possibly from an idea by Inigo Jones. Sweeping lawns, lakes and waterfalls and a walled garden.
Please bring a picnic lunch to eat at West Woodhay.
This event has been organised by the Hampshire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
