Brooks's celebrates its 250th anniversary this year. Founded in 1764, the clubhouse was designed by Henry Holland and completed in 1778. Brooks's also houses the Society of Dilettanti’s significant collection of portraits, including works by George Knapton, Benjamin West, Joshua Reynolds, Thomas Lawrence, Martin Archer Shee, John Singer Sargent and John Ward. This exclusive visit will be led by Charles Sebag-Montefiore, trustee of Brooks's, joint secretary of the Society of Dilettanti and former Art Fund trustee. 

This event has been organised by the London Events Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
