  • Lecture |
  • Wednesday, 29 October 2014 - 18:30 until 20:00

Speaker Clare Ford-Wille, art historian, is well known for her courses at Birkbeck and Morley College, and lectures for the National Gallery, the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Art Fund.

The Royal Academy will host an exciting exhibition, beginning in October, of the engaging and compelling portraits and other work of the Northern Italian artist, Moroni, one of whose best-loved works is the Portrait of a Tailor in the National Gallery.  The lecture will be an opportunity to look more closely at Moroni's work and the paintings of his contemporaries in Northern Italy.

This event has been organised by the Cambridgeshire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
