A full day of Arts and Crafts will begin with a visit to The Wilson, Cheltenham's newly extended Art Gallery & Museum.  There will be an opportunity to hear about the development of the Wilson, an introduction to the new gallery spaces and a guided tour.  There are four new floors, with space to discover local heroes and archive exhibitions and a gallery space for the internationally renowned Arts and Crafts collection. There will also be an opportunity to view Rodin's Kiss, returning to celebrate the centenary of Rodin's visit to Cheltenham in 1914.

In the afternoon we will visit Rodmarton Manor, an outstanding example of a house built and furniture made to Arts and Crafts principles by hand with local stone and timber. The house accommodates a wide range of furniture, pottery and ironwork built by, among others, Sidney and Edward Barnsley, Peter Waals, Alfred and Louise Powell and Norman Jewson. The afternoon will close with an opportunity to view the fine Cotswold gardens.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
