Lynne Edge: An illustrated talk on her work as a conservator

  • Williamson Art Gallery |
  • Lecture |
  • Monday 14 April 2014 - 14:00 until 16:30

Lynne Edge will talk on the art, craft and science of the fascinating discipline of conservation. She will discuss case studies and show examples of work over the last twenty years that she has carried out for the National Trust, English Heritage, museums, galleries and country houses, to name but a few.

After the lecture, Lynne has offered to investigate pieces that attendees would like to bring in for her to consider. She will pick a few examples, and discuss the cleaning, conservation or restoration that would be best suited to each piece.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
