Exclusive guided tour of the former home and studio of Frederic, Lord Leighton and President of the Royal Academy 1878-1896. Built to George Aitchison's designs, extended and embellished over 30 years, this glorious building was reopened in 2010 after extensive restoration. The museum is noted for its elaborate oriental and aesthetic interiors. Highlights are the extraordinary two-storey Arab Hall with golden dome, the Silk Room and Leighton’s vast painting studio.

Works by Leighton , Millais, Edward Burne-Jones and George Frederick Watts, the Walter Crane designed mosaic frieze, and tiles by William de Morgan are amongst  the museum's fine collection .
