This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy visiting the magnificent Cornish Manor House out of season. Onthe visit you will see the influence of each period from the time it was built in 1588 to the present day. Owned by the same family throughout, we are delighted that the present owner, Peter Prideaux-Brune will welcome us prior to conducted tours of the house. Not normally open to the public, the tour will include on of the bedrooms, the fascinating are rarely seen 1730 Edmund Prodeaux architectural drawings of notable grand houses and a considerable volume of Hogarth prints.
We shall enjoy lunch with time in the Elizabethan Great Hall, prior to a gentle walk across to the church for a talk on its history and links with the Prideaux family, to be followed by tea at the house.
There is ample parking along the drive.
This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
