L S Lowry Seascapes - Michael Howard
- Leighton Hall |
- Lecture |
- Wednesday, 25 September 2013
Mr Howard is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He is a painter, sculptor, printmaker and ceramicist who has exhibited at the Royal Academy and other venues. He is passionate about Lowry’s great talent and this lecture coincides with the major exhibition of his work at the Tate. His seascapes are especially interesting and include views off Lytham St Annes. He will show how varied an artist Lowry was, and not just to be remembered for his Industrial paintings alone.
This event have been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
