This is a rare opportunity to visit one of the finest privately owned houses in England. The tour will be led by Michael McGarvie, who was the archivist for the Manor. The visit begins with a tour of the house and gardens of the Manor which was built for the Abbots of Glastonbury, and which passed to the Horner family after the Dissolution.  The tour will then visit the Church of St Andrew.

In the afternoon, Michael will lead a "perambulation" around the village which will include the medieval Tithe Barn, Lutyens' war memorial, weavers cottages and some of the ancient village houses.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
