From Cozens to Cox: The Golden Age of British Landscape Watercolours

This talk by Anne Lyles covers watercolours c 1770-1850 .

It is in the representation on landscape, particularly the British landscape, with its variable climate, that watercolour comes into its own, Anne Lyles, former Tate curator and and expert in the medium, addresses the evolution of the landscape watercolour at a time of rapid change and in the hands of some of its greatest practitioners. 

This events has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
