This is a fantastic full day tour arranged with the Frinton and Walton Architectural Trust.
Meeting at 11am for a guided walk in the Edwardian Avenues of Frinton, highlighting the prestigious houses by major architects such as Voysey.
Breaking for lunch before continuing on to a guided walk of Frinton Park Estate, which is the best example of a modernist estate concept surviving in Britain. Building had started in 1934 and the estate was planned to be a housing development of around 1000 art deco houses designed by Oliver Hill but was never completed and development stopped in 1936.
