Granted Royal Charter in 1363, the Vintners' Company is one of the great 12 Livery Companies of the City of London.
With its origins steeped in the history of the City of London and the import, regulation and sale of wine, the Company continues to maintain strong links with the British wine trade, hence Vintners' Hall is known as the trade's 'spiritual home'.
Vintners' Hall was rebuilt in the 1670's after the Great Fire of London and, during the 18th century, only minor changes and improvements were made.
Since then, some alterations and elaborations have taken place according to fashion and technological development, although these changes did not affect the heart of the building.
Tour the principle rooms including the Court Room, Boardroom and the Livery Hall and explore the collection of paintings, silver and textiles.
