The Queen's Chapel and the Oxford and Cambridge University Club

The Queen's Chapel, only open for Sunday services, is an uncompromisingly classical building and arguably the best preserved of Inigo Jones’ surviving work. Begun in 1623, the west end owes much to the centerpiece of Jones’ design for the Prince’s lodging in Newmarket.

St James's Palace was built by Henry VIII and since the reign of Queen Anne, has been the official Royal and Court residence. The visit, guided by Dr Michael Turner, MVO, Inspector at English Heritage, will include a tour of the state rooms which are rarely seen by the general public.
