There will be a visit to Stonor Park, one of England's oldest manor houses. Stonor has been the home of the Camoy family for 850 years and houses a remarkable collection of family portraits, stained glass, Old Master paintings and drawings, European bronzes, wallpapers and ceramics. The House and Chapel were built in the 12th century, with additions and changes made in the 14th and 18th centuries.
Stonor was, for a time, home to St. Edmund Campion, the English Jesuit priest and martyr. Campion sought refuge at Stonor during the Reformation and there is an exhibition celebrating his life and work.
