The Victorians were responsible for some of the greatest restorations to Norwich's fine medieval churches. Dr Nicholas Groves, author of the much acclaimed The Medieval Churches of the City of Norwich, will guide a tour of various medieval churches restored by the Victorians in Norwich including St George Colegate and St Helen. Lunch will be taken at the Norfolk Club, which was the Crown Bank from 1792-1866 and has some fine panelling and fireplaces on the first floor.
