Visit: Jewish Museum
- Jewish Museum London |
- 12, 26 January 2011 - 14:00 until 16:00
After extensive refurbishment, The Jewish Museum re-opened its doors in March 2010. It is one of only 13 museums in London to be awarded Designated Status by the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council. Through personal documents, works of art and ritual artifacts, it tells the story of the Jews since their arrival in Britain in 1066. After an introductory talk and curator led tour visitors will have an opportunity to see items from the Museum’s store – which have been acquired with the help of the Art Fund but are not on permanent display.
