Visit: Clarence House
- Clarence House |
A privately guided tour around the five ground-floor rooms where Prince Charles and his wife undertake official engagements.
Designed by John Nash and completed in 1827, Clarence House was the home of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother from 1953 until her death in 2002, and today it is the London residence of The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, as well as Princes William and Harry. While the House is open to the public during the summer months, we offer members a privately guided tour around the five ground-floor rooms where Prince Charles and his wife undertake official engagements and receive guests from around the world. The building contains many wonderful items, from major paintings by Augustus John, John Piper, Walter Sickert and Graham Sutherland to superb examples of Fabergé, English porcelain and silver, including pieces relating to the Bowes-Lyon family. The tour lasts 45 minutes.
