At the end of the 1920s, the flamboyant Surrealist
Salvador Dali collaborated with Luis Bunuel to make two of the most shocking
films of all time, Un Chien Andalou and L'Age d'Or. He later
worked with Alfred Hitchcock on the dream sequence of Spellbound. Ian
Christie, Professor of Film and Media History at Birkbeck College, will discuss
Dali's impact on film.
