Our opening hours are limited, and many of our event attendees are not local to the area so cannot buy advance tickets in person. As a smaller museum staffed largely by volunteers, we were desperately trying to implement online ticketing for our events, recognising that selling tickets online is hugely important – if not essential.
We are a paid entry museum who rely on this income, so when the pandemic hit we needed a system to both support us financially and keep our staff and visitors safe. We couldn't introduce timed ticketing ourselves as we did not have the technical capacity or funds to create a new platform.
