Developing your museum events programme

A new fully-funded workshop designed to help you explore the various elements involved in running a public programme from inspiration to delivery, including ideas, contacts, budgets, facilities and marketing.

With the growing number of events, courses, workshops and other leisure learning opportunities that are available today, museums are increasingly having to compete to engage adult audiences with their programmes.

This one-day fully-funded workshop will help you think about developing new and exciting ways of growing and diversifying your audiences but also the need to use events as a means of generating income. This one-day workshop will explore the various elements involved in running a public programme from inspiration to delivery, including ideas, contacts, budgets, facilities and marketing.

Workshops will take place from 10.30am-4.30pm at the Art Fund offices on the following dates:

  • 17 May
  • 21 May
