A work from a series of 14 large scale colour photographs titled 'Stations of the Cross' which disturbingly portray the final hours of the life of the condemned Christ.

Damien Hirst and David Bailey closely collaborated on the series and both have a fascination with the use of Christian iconography. This work is a simple, powerful image which captures symbolically the agony of Christ.
