The ceramics received by Bristol, Durham and Glasgow reflect the huge 18th century trade in porcelain from China to Europe. Some of the most popular export styles are represented, such as famille verte, famil1e rose and Chinese Imari, and the wares include vases, punch bowls, tureens and dishes.
