A collection of drawings by Henry Woods, his sister Fanny Woods who married Sir Luke Fildes and Frank Stone, the father of a neighbour of Fildes.
Henry Woods is seen both as a graphic artist and as a recorder of picturesque life in Venice, where he settled in 1876. Stone is represented by studies for his sentimental Regency subjects and by numerous landscape sketches. The drawing illustrated is a full length portrait of woman wearing an elaborate dress by Henry Woods.
