Artist commonly known as 'Snaffles'.

Depicts a member of the 87th regiment and his dog in a tongue-in-cheek manner, demonstrating that humour was an important part of army life. Purchased by the Art Fund with the assistance of the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.
