This 161 piece dinner service is decorated with green transfer printed designs based on the Don Quixote story.

During the 1820's and 1830's scenes from Don Quixote were used to decorate many of the Rockingham wares and this service features 17 of the 18 recorded scenes known to have been used at the pottery. The works are marked Brameld 1806-1842, referring to the Brameld family who took over the factory in 1806.
