Top view above the water shows ships crowding the Thames. Bottom view shows pedestrians, vehicles and horsemen in the Thames Tunnel, designed by Sir Marc Brunel and built in conjunction with his son, Isambard Kingdom Brunel. In original card slipcase, labelled in both French and German, demonstrating the international appeal and significance of the tunnel hailed by the Victorians as the 'eighth wonder of the world'.
